CDs not Available from Me

I can’t fill any CD orders for awhile but some dealers still have copies if you attend a con. Almost all of my music is available for download from all the major music servers. I get a lot of requests for music that didn’t make it onto my CDs, like “Lady Amber” and “Fields of Fire”. These tunes are saved but have yet to make it to digital. If you’re wanting a particular song please drop me a note here and I’ll keep you in line for those waiting for favorite songs.

Meanwhile, I’m helping my Mom, who has dementia, through early September. It’s very draining as many of you know. I’ve been lucky enough to be in A/C house so far but I’ll spend August at a lake house with no A/C. I don’t know how I’ll make it so I’ll just keep praying to the weather gods to bring cooler temps to us all.

Come on , Canada. Send us a breeze !

  1. Dear Meg,
I did manage to dub off a copy of ‘Swing the Cat’ from my tape of it. If you can use it I’d be happy to provide a copy. (Slight ‘wow’, but otherwise good.) Now if I can just find the written lyrics of ‘Fields of Fire…’
You have my empathy about dealing with dementia in one close to you. It’s draining.
And you have my understanding about dealing with a concussion. My wife was hit from behind by an elderly woman who should not have been behind the wheel. It’s almost a year now and she is just now beginning to pull out of it. The best advice I can give you is to be more stubborn than your injuries. Don’t give up!

  2. Hello, Dave, and thanks for checking in. It’s my computer situation that has stopped me from getting “Fields of Fire” to you for download. I think I’ll be calling on some music friends to get the song from tape-to-mp3 or updated sound file and then I’ll notify you when it’s finally here for you.

I’ve been recovering from a very bad concussion I had Dec. 2015 and it’s set me back quite a few steps in the creative department. I’d be making music and doing all kinds of things if my brain would just cooperate ! It’s almost May 2016 now and I’m finally doing better.
Again, thanks for your request, keep in touch and trust me…I keep a list of everything requested so I may go quiet but I haven’t forgotten you.

    Take care,
    ๐Ÿ™‚ Meg

  3. I know you’re having a tough time (friend of mine has MS) but I just want to encourage you to digitize ‘Fields of Fire’ sometime soon.

  4. Sorry I haven’t answered people’s posts but I’ve gone from illness to pain attack & back again since January.
I found cassette copies of “Dream of Light Horses” and “Swing the Cat” in my stash so I’m going to find someone who will transfer to CD and fix noise problems on the tapes. Hopefully, i’ll end up with tracks good enough to put here for your downloadable enjoyment.

  5. I’d love to have Ravens. It’s one of the eeriest and most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, and I love it so dearly, and I have lost my tape of it, so all I have now is me singing it very loudly to myself in the car. And I’m a terrible singer!

But it truly is a beloved and beautiful song.

  6. Dear Christine,
I finally got out of bed at 1pm today after a night of searing pain attacks. I made Yorkshire tea, fed my Cheshire cat and sat down to see what the world was up to …..and then I came across your comment.
Your lovely words lifted my spirit, soothed my pain and encouraged me to get on with some new music. If I have helped you, you have returned the favor 100 fold.
This Thanksgiving, let us give thanks for each other and all the people of the world who make our lives better.

Now bring on the Punkin’ Pie, succulent bird and friends all ’round !
Much love to you and yours,
    ๐Ÿ˜‰ Meg
